Student Success Statement
“The reward for doing the right is mostly an internal phenomenon:
Self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem.”

This quote is trying to say that there really isn’t a physical reward for doing something that is right. You don’t receive money, food, or praise for being a Good Samaritan. What you do get is internal feelings, feelings of self-respect, dignity, and happiness. You feel like a good person for doing a good thing and that’s all you get.
