Periodontist
Duties and Responsibilities:
Periodontists treat and care for the foundational structures
of the teeth such as the bones and gums. Work may be surgical or non-surgical
and might include tasks like placing implants, developing treatment plans, and
providing preventative care. You may also perform cosmetic procedures,
including tissue grafts or reductions to alter the way a person's smile looks.
Salary:
$168,000
Education:
Periodontists earn bachelor's degrees in chemistry, biology
or a related topic, then attend a dental school accredited by the American
Dental Association, obtaining either a DDS, a Doctor of Dental Surgery, or DMD,
a Doctor of Dental Medicine, degree. A periodontist then must complete three
years of specialty education at an American Dental Association-approved
graduate/residency program.
I would not like to be one as I don’t really like those
dentistry profession
