Sonographer (Ultrasound Technician)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Diagnostic medical sonographer and cardiovascular technologist and technicians, including vascular technologist, operate special imagining equipment to create images or conduct test. The images and test results help physician’s asses and diagnose medical conditions. Some technologist assists physicians and surgeons during surgical procedures.

Salary: 

Per Year $60,350

Per Hour $29.02

Education:

They need to have formal education, such as associates degree or a postsecondary certificate. Many employees also required professional certification.
