This quote is trying to say that all the great things of this world stem from the kindness of something or someone. Be good to people and you’ll get good things in return. Just like the golden rule says “do to other as you would wish done to yourself.” If you want to be treated nicely and with respect, then you should treat others nicely and with respect. Say you work in an office. You’re new to the office so nobody knows you but everyone else knows eachother. If you give off the impression that you are the type of person that picks on everyone, everyone will want to pick on you, because you get what you give.
